    Start the day with previous day's closers,Make new business calls,And work towards meeting 3 new people daily,And continous knowledge upgrading

    Yes...Provided you have the passion for it

    There is negativity in every corner...not just IB but every have to learn to seer around it

  • What advice helped you in your career and who gave it to you?

    someone once said me if I loose this job...I will not been even hired as an analyst...That someone was the managing partner of the last company I worked...He was right...No one hired me after that as I became an entrepreneur and I hired 12 people...Advices good or bad both have a positive's up to us how we take it

    most common mistakes is they either do not understand the trends or they missinterprte it

    Honestly I was very nervous,Lack of confidence ,But eventually I pulled it off

    My advice is follow ur passion and work smart and define golas and timelines

    Never....If one chooses to be an IB then 1st thing he should have passion for finance and numbers

    It has evolved a my forefathers day it was like a Financial consultant who used to be a close person to the family eventually to corporate advisory and consulting services now

  • What is your biggest concern at your job? How do you manage it?

    Biggest concern is maintaing your own self Brand Image

  • What if I had to accept my first job post-MBA in some other stream apart from Finance (owing to the aftermath of COVID19), how would I turn around into Finance (especially IB)?

    Why do you want to do that ? If you are interested in Finance continue is the same field. Do not change stream just for temporary situations,you will be a jack of none.

    My education streme was completely different from what iam doing now...However education gives you information not commansence

    IB happen to me accidentally,I started my job in purchase procurement field,sales and eventually analyst and then a IB

    There are no friends here...All are partners associated towards working on goals,Don't get into personal connect,There are no favours only selfish agendas

    Getting Right Investment for the right client, vis a vis a good investment opportunities to the investor and making mind set and expectations match ....ongoing challenge with every only get better with time in your negotiation and convincing skills

  • What skill set is required to become a successful investment banker?

    It is not a rocket science,if you have passion for finance and numbers and have some basic negotion skills all that is required....once u jump in you start to swim and eventually reach your destination

    It was a accident for me to come into IB,But i was a finance and numbers person so the career embraced me and I went on with it

    Not some...There is lots of negativity from every corner..You need to sail through it

    It will be more of a digital interaction going further...which I feel is not the right time in indian financal field as we Indians are secrative about our finances..but this change sooner or later will take over

    Getting our term sheets
